Colin O’Keefe | Chicago Tattoo Artist
My name is Colin O'Keefe and I am a Chicago-based tattoo artist. I am originally from Rochester, New York. I graduated with an undergraduate degree in Fine Arts from Rochester Institute of Technology.
I began my tattoo career in 2013, first as an apprentice and then as a full-time artist. My style of tattooing includes bold lines and often bright colors. I put a particular focus on balanced, illustrative designs. Many of my pieces feature varying line thicknesses and eye-catching color choices.
I moved to Chicago in 2018 with my fiance. I spent a brief period at another shop before starting at Speakeasy Custom Tattoo in Wicker Park. I have grown to love the people and appreciate the culture. I have met a lot of talented Chicago tattoo artists that have inspired me to keep learing and growing.
